It is a pleasure and honour for me to present you ‘Blue Sky Magazine’, our brand new in-flight magazine. The launch of this new issue coincides with some major events for our company.

Firstly, we are happy to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ASL. I took over ASL in 1998, when the company only had one aircraft. We now operate more than 35 aircrafts, out of 9 different bases and under two Air Operator Certificates, ASL and JetNetherlands. I am very proud of what we have been able to achieve. This is also thanks to an incredible team of dedicated professionals that surround me.

Secondly, there is the launch of Air Charters Europe. ACE is a new airline company especially aimed at business group travel and incentives. We strongly believe that there is a very strong market for on-demand business and incentive flights within Europe and the new ERJ135 will be the perfect aircraft for this.

ASL and JetNetherlands are now recognized as one of the leading business jet operators in Europe. We have built our re-putation on quality, efficiency, safety and reliability. These fundamental principles also drive the subsidiaries of our group, such as our successful Blue Sky Aviation Club and our recently established Elite Pilot Training Center (cfr. ASL Academy nowadays).

All these entities now allow us to consider ourselves as a key player in the European business aviation sector. I truly hope that you will appreciate this magazine as much as we do and that we will have the privilege to meet you soon, or to have you on board of one of our aircrafts.
