1997: Acquisition of Air Service Liège, which is transformed into a Private Limited Company

1998: Start of operations from Hasselt with a Piper Seneca II (OO-MLF) flying from the airport of Beek (Maastricht / Netherlands). Focus on aircraft management for several owners and subletting of aircraft to external customers

1998 > 2001: Expansion of the fleet with 3 additional aircraft, including a Beech King Air B200 (00-LET) which is still part of our fleet today

2001: Establishment of JetNetherlands BV

2003 > 2006: Further development of our activities and expansion of the fleet to 6 aircraft: 4 turbo props and 2 jets

2006: Start of operations with the Beechcraft 1900D (OO-PHB) on the market for charter flights for more than 9 passengers

2006: Establishment of a company owned hangar including office and facility space at the Deurne airport (Antwerp). Hangarage for 8 aircraft. Division of operational headquarters (Deurne) – administrative headquarters (Hasselt)

2006: Founding of our travel agency, ASL TRAVEL, which specialises in organising incentives and developing custom travel projects, all operated with company owned aircraft

2008: Introduction the first light jet in Belgium – the Cessna Mustang (OO-PRM)

2008: Expansion of the fleet with a second Beech King Air 200 with cargo door and a Citation CJ3. ASL now owns all three of the CJ jets: the CJ1, the CJ2 and the CJ3. The fleet now consists of 10 aircraft

2009: Start of operations with a Dornier 328 TB which can transport up to 19 passengers in VIP configuration

2010: The fleet grows to 14 aircraft. Introduction of a Beechcraft King Air 350i

2010: Creation of the non-profit organisation Pilatus Club, allowing participants to join a club owning a Pilatus PC 12 that can fly to destinations which are hard to reach for other aircraft

2011: Introduction of a Cessna XLS+ offering a capacity of up to 9 passengers, a large flying range and a stand-up cabin

2011: Founding of the Elite Flying Club offering a Cirrus SR20 and a full motion simulator

2011: Start of a new company ASL bv in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) after the acquisition of the assets of bankrupt Solid’Air

2012: ASL bv optains a new Dutch AOC in March 2012

2012: Expansion of the combined fleet of ASL nv and ASL bv to 20 aircraft

2013: ASL introduces the very first Cessna Citation X for commercial operation in the Benelux

2014: ASL introduces the first Bombardier Challenger 605 in its Dutch operation

2014: Introduction of the Embraer Legacy 600 in the fleet. First Legacy 600 registered in the Netherlands

2014: Europe’s first Cessna Citation Sovereign+ joins the ASL fleet and becomes the first commercial operator of the type

2014: ASL and JetNetherlands announce the signature of a merger agreement. The joint fleet is now over 30 aircraft

2015: ASL & JetNetherlands introduce a brand new Dassault Falcon 2000LXs in their fleet

2015: ASL becomes the first commercial operator in Belgium to receive approval for LPV/RNP (GPS) approaches

2015: ASL & JetNetherlands become member of EBAA (European Business Aviation Association)

2015: RAS (Rijnmond Air Service), a Part-145 Maintenance Organisation, is taken over by the ASL/JetNetherlands Group. 

2016: ASL takes delivery of the first European registered Embraer Legacy 450. Second aicraft of type to be delivered worldwide

2016: ASL & JetNetherlands take delivery of a factory-new Embraer Legacy 650. This is the first Embraer Legacy 650 to be registered in Belgium

2016: ASL inaugurates its new VIP business lounge at the airport of Antwerp-Deurne (Belgium)

2016: ASL and JetNetherlands join the Flight Safety Foundation

2016: Grand opening of the new hangar and offices of RAS (Rijnmond Air Services) at the airport of Rotterdam-The Hague in the Netherlands

2016: ASL & JetNetherlands becomes one of the first operators to offer a comprehensive Part-NCC support program. The company welcomes it's first Embraer Phenom 100 under this new program

2016: ASL & JetNetherlands ink deal with the web-based company Stratajet, in order to promote its empty leg flights and boost its charter bookings

2016: JetNetherlands takes delivery of its second factory-new Cessna Citation Sovereign+

2016: ASL takes delivery of its second Cessna Citation XLS+

2017: JetNetherlands takes delivery of two additional Piaggio P180 Avanti

2018: ASL & JetNetherlands launch their new in-flight magazine - Blue Sky Magazine

2018: ASL Private Jet Services and ASL Airlines Belgium (former TNT Airways) establish strategic agreement in Liege

2018: A fifth Cessna Citation Sovereign is added to the fleet

2019: ASL launches FBO/Business Aviation Handling Services in Antwerp and Groningen, with plans for expansions on other airports
